We participate in a number of events to support our advisory clients and the market generally.
Our own flagship event, the RSMR Investment Conference and R Awards, is held each year in Yorkshire. This includes panel discussions involving many leading fund managers. The event provides valuable CPD for advisers and in the evening we hold a relaxed networking dinner along with our own R Awards. Our past after-dinner speakers have included Andrew Neil and Alan Johnson.
Our 2017 conference and dinner will be held on Wednesday 22nd November at Rudding Park, Harrogate. You can read more and register here: http://rawards.co.uk
Good Money Week
We plan to hold another local event during Good Money Week this year (week commencing 30th October), where we can bring together ideas in the area of socially responsible investing and how this sector is developing without any loss of investment performance. Watch this space!
Winning Advisers – Leeds
This event is organised by OwenJames and is aimed at owner-managed IFA practices who want to share ideas whilst also learning of new initiatives in the marketplace.
The next event will be held in central Leeds in April 2018. The event is by invitation only so if you are interested please get in touch at email@example.com
RSMR in the City - London
Our inaugural ‘RSMR in the City’ in March 2017 brought a piece of Yorkshire to London with 19 leading fund managers taking part, and after-event drinks in the atmospheric setting of the crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral. Our 2017 conference was very well received. In March 2018 we expect to return to the capital with what will become an annual event - watch this space.
[PAST] Portfolio Adviser Fund Manager Awards
For the fourth year we sponsored the Portfolio Fund Manager Awards held on 19th January at the Banking Hall on Cornhill.
An informal lunch provided great networking opportunities and our very own Ken Rayner presented the Reader’s Choice Award which this year was won by Hermes.
